Denim for Days in Paris

Jeans Casual & Chic (Paris)

Happy Monday everyone! Today I am sharing a effortless chic outfit that I had put together in Paris to visit couple of my favorite locations. The classic Levis skinny jeans and a white shirt is a simple way to recreate a styles! Adding a hat definitely adds some cool glam to the overall outfit. And when touring , make sure you have comfortable shoes. I am wearing a silver lace up shoes from zara.

I started my day having breakfast at one Paris’s prettiest Patisserie. Located at Place du Trocadero, Cafe Carette is a great place to have wonderful pastry or light lunch while enjoying the view of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.( A must see place). Later on I headed over to the Palais Royal and finished my day by having dinner and sipping some champagne at the contemporary brasserie Café Marly located at the Louvre terrace overlooking the Pyramid and the Cour Napoléon. I actually went there 3 times during my trip lol. Enjoy the pictures…

Oi amores! Espero que tenha tido um ótimo final de semana. Hoje divido com voçês um look básico e chic, bem a cara de Paris. Calça jeans e blusa branca é uma trque excelente para manter um visual clássico sem fazer muito esforço. Adicionei um chapéu e óculos de sol céline que deixou o look moderno e chic. Turistar com elegancia em Paris é tudo kkk. Portanto evite coisas coloridas e ténis de academia…. Escolher calçados comfortáveis é primordial, eu estou usando um sapatos ZARA prateado estilo mocassim com cadarço e além de estiloso é super confortéavel.

Começei meu dia tomando um delicioso café da manhã em um dos cafés mais charmosos e famosos de Paris o Café Carrette, lugar perfeito para uma café, comidinha leve ou um almoço enquanto disfruta de uma vista maravilhosa da Torre Eiffel. (Tem que visitar). Depois das minhas andanças, mais para o final de tarde fui até o Palácio Royal e de lá jantei no contemporário Café Marly que fica localizado no Terraço do Múseu do Louvre com vista para a Piramide do Louvre. Nada como encerrar a noite com chave de ouro. Adoro o café marly e durante meus dias em Paris voltei lá 3 vezes kkk. Vamos aos detalhes?

Off Shoulder top in Paris

Casual chic no Plaza Thenée- Paris

Hello everyone! Sharing a casual chic black & white style featuring the off shoulder top ( a must have for the season) that I wore in Paris to visit the historic luxury hotel Plaza Athenee, located at 25 Avenue Montaigne. I spent some time at the plaza Café , sip a chardonnay and grab something to eat ($$$). It was raining in the morning and by the time I left the hotel I still faced couple drops of rain but then the sky cleared up and the sun shined for the rest of the day. I am wearing a white skinny pants from Levis and a off shoulder top from Zara. Comfortable wedges from Schultz (a must) and Zara leather cross body bag. Since I carry couple beauty products, Iphone, selfie stick and a Sony camera with me I always make sure I have a descent size bag 🙂

Oi amores. O look de hoje em preto e branco e toque de cor ( básico e chic ). Usei para visitra o maravilhoso hotel Plaza Athenée em Paris. A manhã foi bem chuvosa e ainda tinham alhuns pingos de chuva no caminho por isso o guarda-chuvas hahaha. Mas logo depois o sol para irradiar o resto do dia. Depois de visitar o lobby do hotel e o restaurante que não tinha vaga pois não reservei com bastante antecedencia) parei no café do hotel e me deliciei com um sanduiche e uma taça de Chardonnay. Logo em seguida fui dar um avolta e fazer umas com[rinhas haha. Para o look, calça skinny da levis , Bolsa de couro e top da Zara , sandálias super comfortáveis da Shultz e óculos Celine. When in Paris…

Pra se apaixonar… Latin Quarter/ St Germain e st. Michel- Paris

Hello everyone! Sharing some pictures of Latin Quarter and Saint Germain area in Paris. If you have a chance, reserve the entire day and walk around the neighborhood and include your visit to one of the most beautiful green areas of Paris that is the Luxembourg Gardens located nearby. If you want to make something special and have a truly Parisian experience have a picnic at the garden. On your way to the garden stop by a liquor store and grab a bottle of your favorite wine or champagne also bring along some brads and cheese for the picnic. I didn’t have a chance to have the picnic but will do next time. I went to the Luxemburg Garden First, I headed over the historic Latin Quarter , Saint German and Saint Michel area. One of the best way to enjoy the characterful area is simply to wand around and get lost exploring all the little streets. At Latin Quarter you can see the famous Sorbonne Université , Musee National du Moyen age, Muséum National d’Histoire Naturalle and Bucolic zoo , Institute du monde Arabe as well the Pantheon, where the great and the good of the French nation are buried.

Adjacent to Latin Quarter is Saint Germain and Saint Michel — the name alone evokes images of bohemian Paris at its height. That areas continue to attract tourists and Parisians who hope to discover, or possibly resurrect, a little of that electric sense once had before. The surrounding streets were once the essence of café society, the distinctive heart of the capital with its booksellers along the banks of the Seine, its little cinemas, and many restaurants and shops. St. Germain is still blessed by a youthful energy, interesting streets and the atmosphere that accompanies a living university district.

Olá pessoal! Dividindo um pouco da minha visita ao bairro Universitário Quartier Latin , St. Germain e St Michel que abrigam os bistrôs mais queridos da bohêmia Francesa. Se você tiver a chance, reserve um dia inteiro para caminhar despreocupaste por essas áreas. Se souber escolher encontrará cafés e restaurantes que são uma joia. Nesse mesmo dia deixe algumas horas reservada para sua visita aos Jardins de Luxemburgo, um dos maiores e mais lindos jardins de Paris que fica próximo dali. Para ter uma verdadeira experiência parisiense, faça um picnic nos Jardins, ao caminhar para lá procure uma loja de bebidas compre seu vinho ou champanhe favorito, acompanhado de queijos e pães. Não tive oportunidade de fazer dessa vez mas já está na minha lista para a próxima ida 🙂 ♥

Dessa vez fiz o sentido inverso (que (outra opção) fui primeiro ao Jardins de Luxemburgo e depois caminhei até o bairro universitário Quarter Latin e Saint Germain. Com um mapa da cidade na mão fica mais fácil de se orientar. Gosto de sair caminhando pelas ruas e me perder kkk assim faço novas descobertas até chegar ao destino. É na Quarter Latin que fica a famosa universidade de Sorbonne, umas das mais antigas e importantes Universidades de Paris. Andar por esse bairro, que fica na margem esquerda do Sena, é muito gostoso. São ruas estreitas, pequenas lojas, livrarias, e cafés agradáveis. Por ali você também fica o Museu da Idade Média, Museu da História Natural, Pantheon, e o Instituto do Mundo Árabe (Mesquita de Paris).

Paris Perfect at Luxemburgo Garden

Pelos Jardins de Luxemburgo- Paris

Although I had visited Paris before I hadn’t stopped at the Luxembourg Gardens before, and I can assure you it is one of my favorite places. It is the second largest garden in Paris located in the heart of Paris’ Left Bank, acting a little bit as “Paris’s lungs”. Dating back from the XVIIth century, they originally were the gardens of the Luxembourg Palace and nowadays the house of the Senate, but the garden is open to the public and it’s is worth a visit. What to do there? Stroll inside the garden and if you have time, plan a picnic. This is the perfect place to have a truly Parisian picnic experience. I try my best to be minimum when it come to my outfits in Paris and nothing better then light fabrics and light colors on a Summer hot day.

Oi amores, Hoje trago detalhes do meu look durante a visita ao exuberante Jardim de Luxemburgo em Paris, o segundo maior da cidade e pra mim, um dos lugares mais lindos de Paris. Apesar de já ter estado a Paris antes, como foi fiquei poucos dias, não tive oportunidade de visitar os Jardins e ja digo de antemão que foi um dos meus lugares favoritos. Porém como é verão, as fores não estão tão lindas, então já quero voltar na Primavera kkk. Ele fica localizado no coração de Paris, diríamos que são os pulmões da cidade, originalmente pertencia ao Palácio de Luxemburgo e hoje sua mansão serve de Casa do Senado. O jardim é aberto ao publico e vale a pena uma visita. Aconselho checar calendário de atrações já que sempre tem algo acontecendo por ali. E fora isso andar e explorar o jardim. Outra coisa, se você tiver um pouco mais de tempo planeje fazer um picnic por lá. Será uma experiência bem Parisiense. Para o meu look do dia em Paris, tento sempre usar o mínimo e neutro e escolhi um look claro e neutro com off white e caramelo perfeito para um dia de verão bem quente. Don’t miss the Fontaine de Medicis, (if you are standing facing the back of the palace it is to the right of the palace 🙂 It is a famous baroque style fountain.

With Love from Paris

Maison Ladurée e Montemartre- Paris

Hi guys. I hope you are having a great week so far. Today the post is still with love from Paris, I am sharing my visit to Maison Ladurée then the Montmartre neighborhood and the Basilica. This day I got up early to do a photo shooting with Hanna from http://www.journeyintolavillelumiere.com/ Then I went back to the hotel got changed and headed over to walk thru Champs Elisée and try the famous macarons. I’ll give more details about Maison Ladurée on another post that will be about about places and restaurants in Paris.

So after I was done eating I went to Montmartre. I toke a taxi to there since I was coming from Champs Elisée. However last time I went to Paris and visit the Sacré-Coeur Basilica I toke the little train of Montmartre (aka Le petit train de Montmartre) actually it is a fun way to navigate the the Butte and le place du teatre of Montmartre) going all the way up to the basilica. The dome above is the second highest point in Paris aside from the Eiffel Tower! Besides the magnificent architecture details inside the basilica , it is located high above the city at the top of Square Louise Michel, which has a spectacular view of Paris.I walked down from the steps in front of the Sacré-Coeur, and the artistic district around Montmartre. Its well worth a visit, pay attention to the neighborhood with pastels homes,big hills, cute cafés and winding little streets. Next time I want to spend the day exploring this charming part of the city. That was one of the hottest day during my staying so I wore a jeans short with a mid-length so I could get into the Church and a light fabric top from Zara with a flat and comfortable shoes and upgraded my out fit by wearing a blue scarf on my neck. Perfect for a summer day in Paris.

Olá amores. Hoje o post é sobre minha visita a Maison Ladurée (aquela famosa pelos macarons) e depois a Montmartre em Paris. Nesse dia acordei super cedo pois eu tinha fotos pra fazer com Hanna do http://www.journeyintolavillelumiere.com/ Depois voltei ao hotel troquei de roupa e sai para a Champs Elisée, queria passar um uma loja e também comer na famosa Maison dos macarons franceses Ladurée (aqui em New York também tem mas nada como ir na de Paris kkk) Vou contar detalhes depois em um outro post com dicas de restaurantes. Depois que sai da Ladurée peguei um taxi e fui até a Basílica de Sacré-Coeur em Montemartre. Como eu estava longe resolvi pegar taxi porém da outra vez que estive em Paris fui até próximo ao Murlin Rouge e de lá peguei o trenzinho de Montmartre para subir até a Igreja de que por sinal é uma gracinha e super divertido. A basílica tem arquitetura incrível, e os detalhes impressionantes. A cúpula da Basílica é o segundo ponto mais alto de Paris depois da Torre Eifel, fica localizada em um ponto alto da cidade e tem uma vista panorâmica e fantástica.

Ao sair de lá , caso você tenha tempo, super recomendo descer as escadas caminhando e explorar as ruazinhas e o distrito artístico que se encontra por alí, , prestar atenção nas casinhas coloridas em tons pasteis, os cafés e ruazinhas estreitas. E claro uma pausa para um ou dois shops. Da próxima vez quero dedicar um dia para caminhar e explorar ainda mais aquela vizinhança por que tem muito o que se ver por alí. Aliás como toda Paris. Este foi um dos dia mais quentes e escolhi uma bermuda jeans (curta não entra na Igreja) , um top de crepe e sapatilha confortável. O lencinho no pescoço adiciona um ar moderno e chic então pode usar a vontade. Vamos aos detalhes?
