Time for silver – Would you wear a silver puffer jacket? Well, I have a thing for sequins and shiny things, so of course I love this silver puff jacket and didn’t think twice before purchasing it. Some how is makes me few like a child wearing something from spaceship. I like the fact fashion comes and goes and some trends stay in power and always returns with some updates. 

 Its funny when we look back to old magazines pictures or how we dressed in the past and we think: “God, the fashion was awful! What were they thinking?!” Yet somehow we recycle these trends, make a few tweaks, and they keep coming back updated looking more stylish.

 I love that the puffer coat are back, as a matter of fact,  it made a surprisingly chic comeback. The puffer had fallen largely out of favor. It was considered a no-no. A fashion faux pas but the puffer has re-emerged on the runways—in every size, shape, color, and crop imaginable. Besides been stylish, they are so warm, cozy and cool. This jacket is a statement piece and although is very bright it can be styled with different outfits. I like the silver one since it goes with any other colours, but I wouldn’t mind it in red as well.  For this outfit, I wanted to play classic wearing my silver jacket with all black outfit but decided to add some color on my feet and the red boots were my choice for a casual weekday look with lots of spark

 A puffer coat will keep you warm, but this one will make you look cool too. I am wearing Zara Puffer Silver coat but I had found similar options for you to shop. I hope you like it

Happy Friday babe! Today I am playing Winter all black with a pop of  Pink. Winter is real here in NYC and the cold is no joke ( I am a Brazilian beach girl) and thanks goodness I will be in Brazil very soon. I’m playing with old favorites today – restyling pieces to make a winter ensemble with a dash of rose. I absolutely love rose-colored pieces, it add a feminine touch to the overall outfit. This cocoon coat is one of my old favorite pieces and a life saver!  I had worn this coat many times since last year and will definitely keeping wearing it even next upcoming Winters. I usually get lots of compliments every time I wear it, I bough this piece at J.Crew , they currently don’t have available in this color but they do  have the same style in others. Also, I had listed above similar coats in pink.

 J.Crew is one of my top destinations to buy good quality and classic coats. You can’t go wrong with them . I usually wait for the sales and purchase some favorite pieces. Since they are so classic they won’t get out of style and will last for a while due to the great quality.

Cocoon coat is a timeless and elegant piece that can be worn many ways. I like to reuse outfits and share on my blog, restyling a look is to add more thick pieces to my winter outerwear collection, I now appreciate very robust jackets in Winter and like to wear it with a ”all black” or with any monochromatic outfit. Its super chic and super warm, also makes winter wear more fun right? Finalized with leopard ankle boots to add some drama to the overall outfit. Hi dear, today I am sharing my top  6  favorites faux fur jackets/coats taht are currently on sale. Faux fur coat is something I’ve been wearing repeatedly lately, its a must have stylish and cozy piece for your wardrobe, providing all the warmth and texture that we need during cold Winter days, especially with the NY temps! Besides that It boost your basic style adding some rock-glam-cool to your outfit. You can’t go wrong with a cozy fuzzy jacket like this- it may seem like something you’ll only wear once but that’s not the case.  I have this particular one for 3 years and I keep wearing it and never goes out on style. Rocking the velvet fashion trend. No doubt velvet one of the most luxurious materials available in the market, came back into style last year but didn’t really stick until celebrities and fashion influencers embraced the trend during London Fashion week creating quite an impact at the in the runways.

As you might have noticed, Velvet is every where right now and continuing in 2017, I believe everyone will incorporate this material into their everyday life so you better get your pieces cuz this will be hard to avoid specially now during the Winter. Some people think that this trend has a bit of its old and refined sort of decadent vibe to it, but then it’s so modern with a mix of 80s and 90s, that it can look incredibly glamourous sophisticated. Personally, I love how velvet instantly screams luxe but it is not necessarily expensive.

I just realized I am wearing ZARA head to toe, they are available right now in their website. For this look I decided to wear the printed velvet blazer and matching pants and create a bold outfit, but I had also styled the blazer with other looks and I will show in future posts. To be fair, this outfit can be duplicated a hundred different ways so really, it’s the perfect investment. I consider this printed blazer and trousers from ZARA one of a kind, a truly statement outfit. I had researched for similar pieces to give you different options but its almost impossible to find printed velvet on a budget. Most of the velvet blazers and trousers comes in plain material which I believe that you’ll wear more often since its not so remarkable and gives you more flexibility to style them.

My advice to you is to dress it down with a plain tee or cotton shirt and flats for day, or wear with a silk camisole and killer heels for cocktails. Definitely a rockstar uniform.

Hi guys! Its almost Christmas and  I know how stressed we get with so many Holiday parties in and out the office, all the shopping and getting just few hours of sleep (like me). We ended up not even planing what to wear for the Holidays.

Sometimes it can be hard to think what to wear especially on December days when you’re freezing your tail off. In this case the best thing is simplify. You just need to wear a monochromatic burgundy or deep red outfit. They are chic, vivid and perfect for the Holidays  Season. What else do you need? A pair of heels and a neutral or a glitter bag and some jewelry and you are ready to go and get lots of compliments.
