Fall Trend Pleated Stripe Skirt

Hello, it’s Banana!!
Well I can’t deny Fall is finally here… This year I’m excited to prep my wardrobe with different silhouettes, prints, and textures. When Banana Republic sent over this trendy pleated stripe skirt in red, white and blue I was pretty skeptical about the style. I know pleated skirt can make me look bigger, as much as I love this trend I have avoid wearing it for years, but for my surprise it lays nicely with the pleats and is so easy to match for work or a simple family outing. The length hits right above my knees ( I’m 5’9″) so its a bit conservative.

So in this post I want to show you what to wear with the pleated stripe skirt. This skirt is very functional and eye-catchy, so you better combine it with your favorite tops and cover-ups. I styled the skirt with an over the shoulder top that is tight to my body so it won’t look bulky. For a night out or cooler days I’d throw a leather jacket over it for an easy cool casual look.

Olá amores! O outono chegou por aqui… Quero meu guarda roupas com texturas, estampas e silhuetas diferentes nesse Outono. Apesar de AMAR listras, quando a Banana Republica me mandou essa saia fiquei meio incerta se eu iria gostar pois os modelos plissados geralmente não ficam bons em mim porque deixa com aparecia mais cheia por causa do bumbum. Haha Porem quando provei e coloquei com uma camiseta ou blusinha colada ombro a ombro e adorei. Essa saia tem um caimento bonito assim como o comprimento. Tenho 1,75 e ficou um pouco acima dos meus joelhos de certa forma composta. Uma boa pedida para os dias mais fresquinho é usar com uma jaqueta de couro meias e botas tanto cano curto como longo para um look mais estiloso. Vamos aos detalhes?

Summer wardrobe Essential

Hi everyone. I hope you are doing well. I am so exited that Summer is (finally ) here. I couldn’t wait any longer to style my favorite outfits. Today I am sharing some of my Summer wardrobe essential that includes few pieces that I recently picked up from Banana Republic. They are currentlyhaving Summer SALE and those pieces are 40%OFF!!

I have an eclectic style and love to mix and match the old and new. Howerver, I confess that what I usually wear on a daily basis is the classic look, beacause you can never go wrong with classic style right? In this post I will show you three different outfits for different occasions. All of thm have light and cool fabrics to wear through the Summer.

Besides the equally chic and fashionable clothing Banana Republic is perfect for all shapes and sizes offering petite and tall sizes.

I am totally in love for this beautiful navy blue dress. The cinched waist accentuates the curve of my body and skirted hemline make for a flirty and feminine silhouette. I love the way this dress pairs with heels and flats. Definitely a perfect summer dress in every respect. I can see myself wearing it for day or night and everything in between! 🙂

If there is one trend that I am crazy about it is the off-the-shoulders.
What I especially love about this Off-the-shoulder is that this piece is perfect for a quick, put-together look perfectly appropriate for a trip to my favorite coffee spot. Though I’ve worn it with just about everything, today’s pairing with distressed skinnies.

I love a good shirt-dress. This one is so flattering and can be used and a shirt as well if worn over a pair of skinny jeans. I think this classic shirt dress is versatile and can be wear to work as well. If you are not as tall as I am, I recommend you to wear this dress to the office as well. Its a great alternative for a casual office or casual shopping outfit. I went to Bryant Park and I chose to wear it with a pair of white sneakers and have my jacket tied around my waist for a more casual cool look.
