Montahas Hunter – Ao Norte de Nova York

Hi Guys, as I promised here are some of the other pictures from my weekend getaway to Hunter Mountain, NY.  We stayed at the Scribner Hollow Lodge Hotel . Very close to the skiing station with a beautiful view to the Mountain. The hotel is kinda pricey for what they have to  offer. We were looking forward to the retro charm of this place but when we checked in we were very disappointed. Electrical outlets in weird places that don’t look safe, lots of things needed to be repaired. I guess they never updated that place.They have a restaurant  there but we decided to have dinner and breakfast some where else 8 minutes away driving in the little town named Tannersville. We first had booked a room with a fireplace however when we got there we didn’t like the claustrophobic feeling with view to the park in lot they they gave us so we moved to another room with balcony and view to the Hunter Mountain. Since we had stopped at the liquor store on our way to pick up some red wine, first thing we did after getting settled in the room was to enjoy the view from our balcony seeping the wine. The facility also has a indoor pool and a jacuzzi (actually the mountain view and the indoor pool/jacuzzi was the main reason that made me book that hotel) So 30 minutes in the jacuzzi then went back to shower get change and have dinner. Since we went towards the end of Winter the town seamed to be very empty but we enjoyed going to a well recommended place named ”Last Chance” where they serve food and have live music. Everything closes down at midnight…

Oi amores,  bom como prometi, aqui estão as outras fotos do meu final de semana na Montanha Hunter , NY.  Ficamos hospedados no Scribner Hollow Lodge Hotel. Muito perto da estação de esqui com uma bela vista para a montanha. Achei o hotel caro para o que eles oferecem. Nós estávamos ansiosos pelo o charme retro deste lugar, mas quando chegamos, ficamos decepcionados. Tomadas de energia em lugares estranhos que não parecem seguras, faltava 2 partes da cortina persiana e com isso o sol entrava sem bater no nosso rosto cedo da manha kkk em fim muitas coisas precisam ser reparadas. Na verdade acho que eles nunca fizeram reforma  no hotel. Apesar de ter um restaurante lá, nós decidimos jantar e tomar o café da manhã no dia seguinte  a oito minutos de distância de automóvel na  cidadezinha  chamada Tannersville. Eu tinha reservado um quarto com lareira no entanto, quando chegamos lá, não gostamos do quarto nem  da sensação claustrofóbica de a mini lareira ser quase colada com a cama e alem do mais a vista era para onde ficam estcionados os carros… Dai pedimos para trocar de quarto e pegamos o que tinha varanda e vista para a montanha. Logo depois que nos acomodamos  a primeira coisa que fizemos  foi abrir uma garrafa de vinho e sentar na varanda para desfrutar a vista da montanha , do friozinho gostoso, do cheiro de madeira queimando vindo das lareiras do hotel  e claro relaxar.  O hotel tem uma piscina interna e jacuzzi (na verdade, a vista da montanha e a piscina coberta com  jacuzzi foi o principal motivo que me fez reservar esse hotel) logo fomos curtir 30 minutos na jacuzzie  depois voltamos para nos trocar e sair para jantar.  Como nós fomos já no fim do inverno,  a vida noturna da cidade estava bem vazia, nós fomos para um bar/restaurante que foi recomendado por algumas pessoas e que tem um nome bem sugestivo kkk chamado ” Last Chance ” (ultima chance) lá eles servem comida, bebidas, uma infinidade de ervejas de varios paises  e tambem tem  música ao vivo. Detalhe: Tudo  la fecha à meia-noite … Beijo e vamos a fotinhas
