Hi loves, it’s time to ruffle up. Embrace the ruffles and fishnet trend. If you follow me on INSTAGRAM you probably saw that I am back from my long vacation in Brazil and arrived right on time for NY Fashion week. Well, during this time lots of energy goes into and prep and organizing the schedule and outfits to the shows and events. I had the pleasure to attend SHOPSTYLE Social House event (one of the best during NYFW). They offered to collaborate with them choosing one outfit to style and
since one of the hottest trend right now is the frills/ruffle and fishnets I picked this beautiful ruffle silk dress from H&M and combined with bold accents like the fishnets tights and multicolored faux fur coat. During those street style days, I got to see many girls embracing the trend and I saw big, small, clean lines or even more playful and feminine ways to wear ruffles. Why we love them? Besides been super feminine they build the foundation of a dramatic look. The waves are modern, lifting up our style. Those undulations get really nice with pumps or sandals, no need to add extra accessories since ruffles speak to their own.
To create a bolder fashion week forwarded look for the evening I wore a burgundy fishnet and the Valentino rockstuded pumps and of course burgundy lipstick to add powers and sensuality to the overall look.
